This is an amazing book; so few pages, yet so much knowledge about how the muscles of the horse function is conveyed. This is essential information for every rider and trainer if their goal is to attain harmony with their horse.

I recommend this book to everyone, particularly if they've bought a young horse. Regardless of discipline, this book has excellent information for how to treat the horse in order to shape him correctly and preserve his longevity. Training horses is not a race against time. I also learned an incredible amount about jumping horses from this book. A must read, you will find yourself reaching for it again and again. I've underlined portions of it, and I continually recommend it to people. Anyone I've loaned it out to has bought their own copy.

Must read for every equestrian

One of the best books ever written on training of the horse from biomechanical/anatomical point of view. Every equestrian disregarding the discipline should understand both human and equine anatomy and this book gives in depth understanding of the latter. Following what this book says will enable your horse to remain sound and healthy and at the same time serve your needs, be it in sport or recreation. Disregarding the discipline. Must read and must study for every equestrian.
