Dissapointed with the content.

Very judgmental. My daughter crossed out a lot of things that were judgmental and we held a class on media literacy at home. I was a fan of all Vicky Courtney's books but here there is one exercise where you must either be one label or another. Where does that fit in real life?

Absolutely great!!

I bought this book for my ten year old daughter as I wanted to challenge her to live for The Lord from a young age. Since receiving the book she has read it through from cover to cover three times in a week. She takes it to school everyday 'just in case' she has a free period and wants some reading material.
When situations in her life come up she is applying the principles and giving me examples from the book. I wish there was a monthly publication
I particularly love the fact that the photographs contain girls from varied racial backgrounds.

Excellent and balanced, speaks clearly to girls

I bought this to use in a 4-6 grade girls Wednesday night Bible class. Many of the girls are unchurched so the regular church materials were not understood. This one came from the girls' perspective and lead them to the truth. I bought the other one also as a companion book.
