The Peacocks Tales is a wounderfull start to connect the dots.

This book is amazing. It gives a lot of answers to the question, is it all connected. The book is filled with evidence that there is a divine hand at work in our universe and that it is everywhere you look. I have read all of Marty`s books so far and he really has a gift from the Creator. If anyone wishes to bring more of the dots together I highly recommend any and all of Marty`s books and also check out his face book page, you will find them very mind opening.

This is a very brave exploration into an extremely important but largely neglected subject. Everyone interested in pursing alternative forms of education (homeschooling, unschooling) in 21st century America should take a little time to educate themselves on the practices and mission of Child Protective Services.

This book was ordered well, filled with concise information, and carries an extremely helpful section on how to handle CPS, which is vital to have in hand if CPS comes knocking at your door.
Considering anyone can call for any random reason, whether true or false, this book almost seems as terrible necessity to give to anyone planning to start a family or who already has children they want to protect.
It is also a quick read, though not lacking in depth, which is also handy if CPS comes with the threat of ruining your children and tearing your family apart.

Very good book. No other book like it that collects all the research about different plants in one place. However, I wish they would come out with a 5th Edition. The book is 7 years old and there's a lot of new research that isn't included. Can sometimes be hard to find the plant you're looking for. The plants are listed alphabetically by common name but if the common name you know the plant by isn't the name it's listed under, it's hit and miss as to if there's a listing for the name it is actually listed under ex. 'Mint- see Spearmint or Peppermint'.

A MUST HAVE For Anyone Serious In Understanding Herbal Medicine

In my interest in learning and understanding the medicinal qualities and uses of herbs for my own personal use (and without any formal medical training), I've purchased many books on 'herbal medicine' and 'homeopathic medicines/remedies'. While there are some good books out there, there is NOTHING I've come across that is as complete as this reference book (4th Edition, 2007).

Some of the most exciting parts of this book for me have been the color photos of the plants (and not just a black and white sketch, or lack thereof, included with some of my other books), the description of the medicinal PARTS of the plant, the pharmacology of plant, and the references (or literature citations) provided that allow me to research further on my own.

This PDR provides you with:

1) An ALPHABETICAL INDEX (in the front): Lists all scientific and common names found in the herbal monographs.

2) THERAPEUTIC CATEGORY INDEX (i.e. acne preparations. migraine preparations, to wound care products): Groups herbs by therapeutic or medicinal category. Listings are alphabetical by category and accepted common name. Herbs deemed effective by Commission E are flagged for quick reference.

3) INDICIATIONS INDEX (i.e. abdominal cramps, relief of flatulance, to superficial wounds): Lists herbs by their primary indications. Entries are alphabetical by indication and accepted common name. Herbs deemed effective by Commission E are specially flagged.

I hope this book is as helpful for you as it has been for me.

In response to post dated September 10, 2008, I'd like to add that this book is 'exhaustive and informative, as well as a reference' as stated by another customer and yes, not all herbs are FDA 'approved', but they have been around and used effectively a lot longer than synthetic versions created by pharmaceutical companies. Which, by the way, also have to go through clinical trials, but generally don't have the same long-term usage data as herbs. Secondly, physicians also use a PDR for prescription drugs based on the same information provided in this publication. It is up to the healer (doctor or herbalist) to use common sense and continued education, as well as an informed patient, to decide on the best treatment for an ailment. Further research by both parties is always recommended.

I like this book as it give up-to-date information on what herbs are used to treat what condition. This book should be in every physician's office and used as a PRIMARY resource before getting out the scrip pad. Many Herbs are as effective at treating conditions as prescribed medications, but without the toxicity and side effects.

and excellent storytelling, and then other sections where it was ...

I had just finished reading "Ice" by Bridget Essex when I decided to pick this book up. After such high praise, I figured it was well worth the shot. I have to say in all honesty that I much preferred "Ice" to this book. For me, the characters seemed a little one dimensional, even despite the heavy description of their outward appearance. There were quite a few spelling and grammatical errors that I noticed, which usually isn't such a big deal as long as they don't exceed a certain level. By mid-point of the third novella (this is a collection of the first three novellas in the series), I was ready to put the book down and move on. I was left with the feeling that the entire book was based around several much smaller short stories because there were moments in the book of such vivid detail, and excellent storytelling, and then other sections where it was just lacking. I suppose I had just expected something better from this author whom I had just discovered.

wow, deciding to write this review now, was quite some time ago since i bought and tried reading it, hoping maybe someone could show me another way to look at it but i dropped this book quite quickly when the character turned stupid, i usually do that, i mean last love dead, love pops up clearly acting strange and well should be dead.. clearly not acting as a returning love interest but instead controlling and trying to interfere with things, and as you know was witnessed DEAD, but instead is accepted in, even if i remember some question but quickly dropped for no reason, all strange behavior brought up but quickly ignored or refused to be acted upon, refusing to ask the important questions or just you know speaking up.. i hate that, when characters stay silent or act like idiots to make the story go forward instead of being smart, saying what they think or feel and boom things move forward but i know lots of authors are unable to not make everything run in circles until the last few pages due to lack of abilities.

much too common that instead of main character saying "i love you" they stay silent and then for the next 1/3 of the book we are forced to watch how everything goes to s*** before finally they get their s*** together and just actually TALK to each other.

characters not saying something to make the story go forward without EXTREMELY good reasons made very clear to the reader is lazy writing done by someone who cant be bothered to write about a deepening of the relationship, but the other possible problems that building and maintaining said relationship.

Now, these things im not sure all apply to this book since its short and i dropped it at shortly after the beach incident when i saw that the author chose to make every IMO wrong choice of how to move the story forward, making main char not speak up for no reason, making main char ignore behaviors because stupid, everything to make the story move to where the author wants it, instead of where a smart person by the use of their voice could bring everything crashing down in a completely different direction due to not being stupid, SHES DEAD MAYBE SOMETHING STRANGE IS HAPPENING?! THERE IS MAGIC IN THE WORLD MAYBE ITS ONE OF YOUR ENEMIES PLOTS?!

meh.. this and i think another of your books quickly turned me away from reading anything further from you sadly, because otherwise, lesbian romance with paranormal worlds are my main genre well.. nearly only genre lately.

If someone has a recommendation for another of your books that doesn't make people stupid to make sure the story moves i would be happy to give that book a try :)

Good and interesting read

Good but left me hanging! No doubt, Bridget Essex is a talented writer. The description of the hotel, the vampires, and Rose's experiences are vivid and I feel I'm right there with Rose through her journey. This series of three books ends on a cliff hanger which is picked up in a 4th novella, "Eternal Dance." so now I need to continue with that one to find out what happens.

There are sprinkles of mystery here and there to keep us guessing and reading. I'm sure Essex will reveal all in time.

I did enjoy the read but it also gave me a wish list of sorts and leaves me with some questions mainly which are:

1) There is actually very little interaction between Rose and Kane. There's a lot of looking and being drawn to each other and it's obvious something greater than themselves are pulling them together but I wish we could see more substantial exchanges between the two.

2) Where the heck does Gwen go off to? She's not around much for being 1 of only 3 other employees in the place.

3) Please, no more "violently blue eyes"...give me other descriptions of Kane's eyes. lol

Despite my wishes, though, there are some wonderful moments in the books. For example, I loved this passage...completely gripped and jarred me:

"And for the first time in what seemed like forever...I felt something pricking inside of me, something growing and unfurling like a blossom opening in my heart. It was hope. It was at that moment that I saw the body in the water."

Loved that!

The novellas aren't perfect but definitely worth a read.

Just essential for students of the German language

I had been recommended by a German teacher that I should get this grammar book and fortunately, I followed her advice. I can only say that it is just perfect for those, like myself, who find that learning German is very demanding. This book can defintely clarify your doubts on the difficulties of Germnan grammar, as it has plenty of exercises and clear explanations.

I believe it is an essential tool and I would certainly recommend it.
The delivery was ahead of the dealine and went just smoothly.

Best and Greatest German Learning Material: I highly recommend it!!

I lived in a German speaking country, where I had to learn the language, from zero, no previous knowledge at all!. I lived there for over 10 years, took many classes at several schools, researched and used several books and learning material during the learning process. I am glad to have learned the language to a proficient level. After having achieved this goal, I found that the best book to keep of all of the ones I bought was this master piece. I did keep other good books and material as well, but this book from Dreyer-Schmidt is for me like my "German Bibble", there I find all the answers to all my questions, it is great in the process of learning and after that to keep the language and do not forget what you learnt.. I recommend this book highly to anyone interested on mastering the German language and to keep it !!!!

It comes in several languages, for the beginners, but I recommend trying using the German one, thus one can understand and learn the REAL words, because German is German.

About the Author
Dr. Dale Arthur Fife is a gifted pastor, author, teacher, and

musician with an insatiable passion for intimacy with God.

His zeal for the Lord has led him on an incredible journey

from his first pastorate of a small rural church in a coal-mining

town outside of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the cofounding

of a large multiracial inner-city church in Pittsburgh. After five

decades of experience in ministry, he and his wife, Eunice, now

provide apostolic leadership at SonPointe Church, a growing

congregation in Bradenton, Florida, and are the founders and

overseers of Mountain Top Ministries, a network of pastors,

leaders, and para-church ministries with local, regional, and

international impact. His wisdom, maturity, and genuine

spiritual concern for others have caused many to regard him as

a "spiritual father" in the Lord. His previous books include The

Secret Place and The Hidden Kingdom.

Powerful, revealing, spiritual book

A sequel to The Secret Place, this book is powerful in showing what insights and spiritual awakenings await those who spend intimate time with Jesus, if only we are willing to commit to it.

Could not put this book down. Read it cover to cover in 2 days.
Jumped right into another book by Dr. Fifi and devoured it too.
This book brought about a shift in my spiritual life.

Fascinating and exciting

This is an awesome book - just like his first one. There were many parallels to my own adventures with the Creator of the Universe and I found it highly encouraging. It increased my hunger for a deeper experience of my faith.
